The ZONA Med Spa Signature Lip Flip is perfect for anyone who has never dabbled in lip fillers before and wants to ease there way into it. This treatment includesup to a half syringe of HA (hyaluronic acid) Filler and a few units of Botox to achieve just a little bit of added volume. While filler is used to add volume to the lips, injecting Botox above the vermilion border (also known as the lip line) causes the border to “flip” and slightly roll the lip up and outward to create the appearance of a fuller, more pouty look! Lip injections often cause swelling that lasts for about 48 hours. While we do everything we can reduce the chance of bruising, it can happen and should be expected/prepared for. Versa: A Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based injections, Versa is a remarkably homogeneous filler due to the advanced wet milling technology and proprietary formula. This means that the particles are uniquely spherical and uniform, providing the perfect balance between smoothness and volume. Versa has also proven to cause less swelling than other fillers, specifically 24% less swelling in one study. Versa filler can last up to 12 months, however, in the lips, a more realistic timeline is 6 months. Individual results may vary.
