Step 1

Skin is first treated with BLUE BBL light to eliminate acne-causing bacteria at its source, deep down in the pores.

Step 2

Skin is then treated with YELLOW BBL light to reduce the inflammation and acne-associated redness to give you healthy, luminous skin.

Step 3

For added benefit, the skin is then treated with SkinTyte II™ using INFRA-RED light in rapid, gentle pulses to initiate the body’s natural healing process. For added benefit, follow your personalized plan including add-on and follow-up treatments, as well as a skincare regimen to keep your skin lasting clear.

Concerns Treated with Forever Clear

While BBL treatments don’t require any downtime, we do require a consultation before this treatment to make sure you would be a good candidate. A series of treatments are needed for optimal results. Our Laser Technicians are skilled on all areas of the body and experienced with concerns such as;

• Active Acne
• Blemishes and breakouts on the face and body

The Treatment

Forever Clear Acne appointments are usually about 1 hour, depending on the area being treated. Our device has a built-in cooling mechanism for your comfort. You can expect your skin to be a little red directly after the treatment but that will subside within the next hour. Expect to feel some heat during the actual treatment as we want to heat up the tissue to a certain degree to get the best results. We will apply SPF before you leave. Be careful in the sun for the following 2 weeks after a treatment. A series of treatments and at home skin care is highly recommended.

Pre and Post Care Instructions

Pre-Care:

• Treatment cannot be performed on someone who has epilepsy, seizures, or light sensitivity.
• Treatment cannot be performed on someone who is taking antibiotics, prescription topicals or someone on accutane within the past 6 months.
• Treatment cannot be performed on tanned or burned skin. Avoid direct sun exposure and/or tanning beds/self-tanners for at least two weeks prior treatment. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen everyday, 30 SPF or higher.
• Avoid the use of any Vitamin A products a week before treatment.
• Avoid wax or use of depilatories in the treatment area for 7 days prior to your appointment.
• Let us know if you have a history of cold sores, we will give you a prescription to take beginning 1 day prior to your procedure. The purpose of this medication is to decrease your risk of getting a flare up after your laser treatment.
• Inform your technician if you have ANY allergies including medications.
• A series of treatments is always recommended for best results.
• This laser treatment can be performed on most skin types, although consultation is recommended first.

Post-Care:

• You will have some redness after your treatment. This is an expected result and is nothing to worry about. 
• Avoid direct sun exposure for 14 days after treatment.
• Avoid any harsh scrubs, Retinols and acids for the next few days after treatment.
• Avoid sun exposure for at least 14 days post laser. Excessive sun exposure during this time could cause changes in the healing of new skin. Always use a sunscreen broad-spectrum SPF of 30 or higher.
