We’ve all heard of AquaGold by now; the newest trend in aesthetics that is growing in popularity like wildfire. It’s best known for a pain- and-downtime free microneedling experience. But have you heard of Mesostamp? I’m gonna answer that one for you…probably not. Here’s what it is: it’s the same exact treatment, just a different manufacturer. And guess what? We just added it to our services list! Read on for more info about the AquaGold lookalike, Mesostamp.
Similar to AquaGold, Mesostamp uses sterile 24K Gold-plated micro-needles to stamp into the epidermis, creating a pathway for anti-aging serums to penetrate and seep into the skin. With 20 needles per stamp and at 0.25 needle length (thinner than a human hair!) the mesostamp is pain and downtime free!
The cocktail of ingredients in the microneedling stamp can consist of Hyaluronic Acid, thinner consistency dermal fillers, Botulinum Toxin (aka Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau), or a special combination of them all. We can customize it to your specific skin concerns! Mesostamp treatment effectively improves the appearance of aging skin, hyper-pigmentation, acne scars, enlarged pores, dull/tired-looking skin, and fine lines and wrinkles. It instantly moisturizes, plumps, and rejuvenates the skin.
Just like AquaGold, Mesostamp microneedling is the perfect “beginners” anti-aging treatment. It is best for mild skin imperfections such as fine lines, enlarged pores, and dull skin. It delivers a smaller amount of active ingredients to the area (think “baby” botox) to provide natural-looking rejuvenation for minor skin imperfections and the early signs of aging.
This procedure is most often used on the face, but can also be used on the neck, decolletage, or as a spot treatment.
Immediately after the treatment, you will have a flushed pink tone to the skin. However, this should subside within a few hours. Other than that, there is no downtime associated with the microneedling stamp. Always follow the post-care suggested to you by your skincare provider.
Patients notice a “glow” to their skin after the pinkness subsides. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Your skin concerns and goals will depend on if repeated sessions are needed.
